There's a certain degree of nostalgia associated with booths from old diners and tables from old soda shops. They just give the aura of 'good old days.' If you decide to go with a restaurant look with your furniture, you have many decorating options available to you. This product does what it is supposed to. We put it around the fireplace edge and the edge of two shelves. It doesn't stick as well as I would have liked it to, hence 4 rather than 5 stars, but overall it is good.

It really looks nice on the wall. Assembly was not difficult, but as I have plaster walls, I had to go out and buy more substantial wall anchors as the location did not have a stud in the right place. Once the spine was up, it only took 15 minutes to have it together. Getting all the cables in the covers took quite a bit more time.I'm still messing with the shelf placement. But I think it looks great. Good price too.

Worked exactly like I had hoped. Contrary to other post, it hide all of my cables effectively, although it is a bit tricky. We painted ours the color of the wall. Paint worked very well on the plastic due to the texture of the plastic. Two coats is all it took. Looks very professional. We couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend over the standard floor type entertainment centers.
